A Sacred Journey to Divine Mercy
Join fellow Catholics from Toronto and the GTA on a meaningful 3-day pilgrimage to the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. This spiritual journey coincides with Divine Mercy Sunday on April 12, 2026 – one of the most significant celebrations in the Catholic calendar, honoring Jesus' message of forgiveness and hope.
This Catholic pilgrimage offers you the chance to deepen your faith, experience the mercy of God, and connect with fellow pilgrims in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Whether you're a seasoned pilgrim or embarking on your first faith journey, this tour welcomes all who seek spiritual renewal.
Experience the Shrine's sacred grounds, including the life-sized Stations of the Cross, the National Shrine Church with its holy relics, and the Our Lady of Mercy Candle Shrine. You'll have opportunities for Mass, confession, Eucharistic Adoration, praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and personal reflection in this holy place.
Detailed Itinerary
- Day 1 (Saturday, April 11, 2026): Early morning departure from three Toronto/GTA pick-up locations: Pape/Cosburn, Wilson/Bathurst, and Centreview/Duke of York (Mississauga). We'll travel across the border to Stockbridge, Massachusetts – approximately 7.5 hours with rest stops, bathroom breaks, and lunch along the way. Upon arrival, check in to our hotel near Stockbridge and enjoy free time to explore the charming town. Overnight stay near Stockbridge.
- Day 2 (Divine Mercy Sunday, April 12, 2026): After hotel breakfast, we'll depart for the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy for a full day of spiritual activities. Attend the Divine Mercy Sunday Solemn Liturgy, participate in confession, walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross, experience Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, attend spiritual presentations, and join the Solemn Celebration of the Chaplet and Benediction. You'll also have time to light candles, visit the gift shop, and connect with fellow pilgrims from across the U.S. and Canada. Late afternoon/early evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
- Day 3 (Monday, April 13, 2026): After hotel breakfast, we'll prepare for our journey back to Toronto. En route, we'll stop at an outlet mall for shopping before arriving at the designated drop-off locations in Toronto/GTA. End of pilgrimage.

- This is a gentle walking pilgrimage suitable for most fitness levels; dress comfortably and warmly for April weather in Massachusetts
- Bring a raincoat, jacket, or umbrella as April weather in Stockbridge can be unpredictable with occasional rain and cool temperatures
- Most meals are not included; we'll make stops for lunch and dinner where you can purchase food
- Valid passport required for U.S. border crossing
- Visa required for non-Canadian passport holders who need a visa to enter the United States
- The Shrine grounds are accessible with paved pathways
- Bring comfortable walking shoes for exploring the Shrine grounds
- Itinerary may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, or Shrine schedule changes
- Consider bringing rosary beads, prayer books, and items for blessing
