What to expect
Scotland is the kind of place you remember for a long time. On this 6-day trip, you’ll explore historic Edinburgh, travel through the Highlands, visit famous lochs and castles, and enjoy local stories, food, and culture.
This is a land-only package. That means the tour price covers the itinerary and inclusions once you are in Scotland. Flights are not included. If you want, you can book your own flights, or we can help you find flights from Toronto to Edinburgh, and your return from Glasgow.
Why join this Scotland tour?
Scotland has a mix of old-world history and natural beauty. You can walk medieval streets, stand on legendary battlefields, and see landscapes that look like movie scenes. Traveling with a guided group also makes the trip easier. You don’t need to worry about transport, timing, or what to do next.
Day-by-day itinerary
- Day 1 - Welcome to Edinburgh: Arrive in Edinburgh and check in. Enjoy time to rest and settle in. In the evening, meet your tour group and enjoy a welcome dinner.
- Day 2 - Edinburgh sightseeing: Explore Edinburgh with guided sightseeing, including the historic Old Town and New Town. Visit key highlights such as Edinburgh Castle and enjoy time along the Royal Mile. (Some free time is also included so you can explore at your own pace.)
- Day 3 - St. Andrews, Pitlochry & Inverness: Travel north with stops in St. Andrews for iconic views and history. Continue to Pitlochry for a whisky distillery visit and tasting, then arrive in Inverness, often called the “capital of the Highlands.”
- Day 4 - Culloden Moor & Loch Ness: Visit Culloden Moor to learn about the 1746 battle and its history. Later, enjoy the scenery at Loch Ness and visit Urquhart Castle ruins on the loch’s shore. Keep your camera ready.
- Day 5 - Highlands scenery, Loch Lomond & Glasgow: Travel south through dramatic Highland landscapes. Stop near famous viewpoints (including a Harry Potter filming-location area when time and routing allow), then continue through Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park before arriving in Glasgow for an orientation drive.
